Simão dos Anjos de Gouvêa was a Portuguese composer, active apparently around 1611. He trained under Manuel Mendes at the choir school of Évora Cathedral.

Around 1600 he succeeded Pedro Thalesio as chapel master of the Hospital de Todos-os-Santos in Lisbon. In March 1611 he moved to Coimbra in the hope of obtaining the university's chair of music, but after nine months of waiting the post went to Thalesio. He directed the music at St John the Baptist in Tomar until 22 December 1622.

Only three of his works survive: a motet for four voices, Pueri hebraeorum vestimenta, a hymn for five voices, O lingua mens sensus vigor, and an alleluia for four voices.
