Ottavio Maria Grandi was an Italian composer active in the first decades of the seventeenth century, of whom only fragmentary information survives; he is approximately placed between 1610 and 1630.

He trained with Alfonso Pagani of Bologna, who in 1604 was in the service of King Sigismund III of Poland. From 1610, or perhaps earlier, he worked as organist and violin master in Reggio nell'Emilia, where he remained at least until 1630: from 1625 at the sanctuary of the Madonna della Ghiara and between 1626 and 1630 at the cathedral.

His name seems to have enjoyed some circulation in Ferrara, as his Op. 1, now lost, was dedicated to Alfonso d'Este, and his incomplete Op. 2 to Francesco d'Este. This latter collection, published in Venice in 1628 under the title Sonate per ogni sorte di stromenti, brings together twenty works for one to six instruments with organ basso continuo, some with violins and trombones. Several of them also appear in a manuscript compiled by Adam Jarzębski.
